Realistic playing feel with mesh head
The RMP-3 is outfitted with a great-feeling, tunable mesh pad for realistic and quiet performance. A small pickup is mounted inside the pad, enabling you to monitor your drumming through headphones, along with the metronome and coaching audio.

Play along to external audio
With the RMP-3 you can play along to external audio as well thanks to the Mix In jack. Connect a CD or MP3 player, cassette deck, or other audio device and jam! Position the RMP-3 on your lap, a tabletop, or mount it on a stand, such as Roland's PDS-2.

Rhythm Coach builds your accuracy, speed, and endurance
As a freestanding practice pad, the RMP-3 is a pleasure to play, but it's the built-in Rhythm Coach that really makes this unit shine. When activated, the RMP-3's Rhythm Coach challenges you in a fun and friendly way with functions such as Time Check, Auto Up/Down, and the new "Stroke Balance" mode to help develop consistent, solid sticking technique.
