If you are creating music, on a semi-meager basis, these are great! They certainly highlight each nuance whether it be vocals, guitar, piano, or bass. If you are looking for a decent set of affordable phones, I certainly encourage you to consider them. And besides, the folks at Sweetwater are just plain awesome; if there is any question, drop them a line, guaranteed they'll be back in touch with you regarding your inquiry :) The only plausible issue I've noticed, if you are clumsy like me, is the length of the wire: I tend to get a bit tangled in it.....but that is certainly an easy remedy, and bears no weight on the quality of the product :) close [-]
