Bang for your buck and then some!!!

I had been looking for a new axe for quite a while. Something with a hardtail bridge and really great craftsmanship that plays super fast and could deliver seriously bone crushing metal tones under $1000. In my opinion you'll be hard pressed to find a guitar that plays as easily, and sounds as good as this guitar for the price. Hell, I'd take this over a Jackson Soloist any day and it costs half as much! When I took it out of it's case I was taken back at how perfectly it was crafted. Absoulely flawless. I imediately put on my favorite strings D'Addario 11-49's and did a quick setup( not that the factory setup was bad just not what I prefer), and pluged into my Mesa Dual Rec. I'd never been so happy with a guitar in my life. The high mass bridge makes for great tone and very comfortable palm muting. The carved top is stunning and the pickups are really good for being stock. I may replace the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker, or a DiMarzio Evolution but I'm vey content with the tone of this axe. If you're thinking of getting this guitar DO IT! It is truely a remarkable instrument. Team J Craft Is awesome! The sales techs at Sweetwater are the most helpfull and knowledgeable people I've ever purchased from. I'm now buying exclusively from Sweetwater.
Ibanez RGA 121

I have the plain wood colored guitar, which I prefer to the other one. What a nice guitar. I play everything from blues to hard rock and was looking to find a guitar that can do both. This guitar can get some bluesy tones, but don't expect to be getting any Stevie Ray Vaughn sounds out of it any time soon. However, this guitar will cover everything else. I will just invest in some type of strat model for those sounds. I must have played this guitar for at least an hour at the store; I started looking at 1,200+ strats and was severely dissapointed and felt as if I was going to get severly ripped off if I purchased a high end strat. Then the shop owner put the 121 in my hands. It is fast, sounds awesome, the craftmanship is top notch, and the case is the nicest I have seen and secures the guitar like a glove. I do not think you can buy a better sounding and easily playing guitar for less than this. I am very precise in my needs for perfect tone and a guitar that stays in tune. I do not use a whammy bar, so this fixed bridge model was just up my alley. It stays in tune nicely, and even when you hammer on it you will only need minor adjustments at the end. The neck is beautiful, 5 piece and flat on the back, which makes it very fast, and more frets than I know what to do with. The guitar is simple, (2 knobs, selector switch and fixed bridge), but you will notice the supreme craftmanship upon close inspection. I have been playing for 12 years now and am completely satisfied with this instrument. True country / Blues players will unfortunatley have to look elsewheres, but for everything else this is the one to get.
