Excellent Quality

This travel bag is well made with tough edges and secure stiching. The adjustable shoulder strap is nylon with metal clasps. The top nylon handle is double with a 41/2" velcro strap to make it into a single double strength handle. The double zippered interior has room for my Zoom R24 an a lap top (or 2 recorders). There is an interior padded devider and a padded fold-over pouch against the rear wall big enough for cables, music, etc.. The front zippered pouch is heavily padded with a velco sealable inside pouch, 3 loop holders (for pens), and another open pouch I keep extra flash drives in. Great looking, sturdy, and excellent quality. A must have for your Zoom R4 (or R16) and is a great lap top bag for a much better price with greater capacity than other dedicated high quality lap top bags.. Very simply; I love it.

Exactly what I needed

Next best thing to a hard case (which I would have bought if one was available!) Obviously it fits the R16 perfectly, I suspect it will also fit the R24 as well. I've used it to carry my R16 to the gig for recording, does the job nicely (but don't plan on putting your amp on top of the bag-it's good, but not THAT good!) I've had some other TourTek bags in the past, and all of it has been high quality, rugged gear that will last. I think this bag is a MUST if you plan on taking your R16 or R24 outside of your home studio to record with!

Good bag for all Zoom R products

Says it is for the R16, but it fits all Zoom R products. I bought it for the R24 and it fits just fine. The main pocket has 2 compartments. One side could hold music, the other has velcro closure that I keep the R24 in. It's much like a backpack or laptop case. The padding is about the same. If you are reasonably responsible this should work to carry around and keep it safe. I use it both to carry and as a protective cover.

There's an outer zipper pocket as shown with handy compartment for pens, SD cards, headphones or similar smaller items. As it is made for the Zoom R line of products, I'd say if you are buying a Zoom R product, then consider this bag!
