I have used these on vocals, guitar cabs and even bass cabs with natural sound reproduction. I have used them for both recording and live uses. The switch is great and I like the mostly silent shut off or turn on. The only complaint I have with this microphone is the shape of the body and the poor mic clip. The body of the mic is angled sharply making it hard to use universal mic clips. The mic clip provided squeezes so tightly you can't get it around the center of the mic. The mic overall is great and I have told others to buy them. close [-] Quite a bang for your buck!

A word of advice: avoid singing anywhere except the center of the head as this causes a loss in higher vocal reception and leaves the bass to carry out on its own. Overall, not a bad mic for a band on a budget! close [-]
