You need these mics!

These "silver bullet" mics are phenomenal. Place them as close as you want without having to worry about excessive bass and capture nuances of the sound you've only dreamed of. Very quick and accurate response allows these mics to get the transients right and they provide great air and sense of space. I love these for acoustic guitar.

Tremendously Accurate

This is a very accurate and detailed mic pair. They reproduce exactly what you put into them. Transients are very fast and accurate, frequency response is very flat. They fill the role of accurate detailed mics exceptionally well, but you'll want a different set of mics for "colored" mics. Mic placement is very important. Placed correctly on an acoustic guitar they will sound fantastic, placed poorly they will reveal every string noise or every bit of boominess from the body of the guitar.
