A volume control allows you to hear the beat over loud music, and the QT1's two different "beat" sounds make for pleasant practice sessions. You can even turn the volume off and just follow the flashing red indicator light. The QT1 metronome features a compact design with quartz accuracy.

Music Background: Piano Teacher, Composer

As a piano teacher this has been one of the best metronomes I've found for students. I love the volume feature because not all have this ability. Students love choosing the color to fit their person... read more [+]ality and enjoy being a part of the decision process. It has a very clear, loud tick. This is the biggest plus. It's also not traditional in looks. I've had absolutely no problems with reliability. I'd buy it again, and I tell all of my students to purchase this metronome. Two thumbs up! close [-]
