Customer Reviewsfrom Greensboro, NC September 26, 2007 Music Background: BA Music - Roanoke College, 20 plus years playing, Engineer/Producer/Performer Progression RAWKS!Progression is a great writing tool. I have been testing and composing on it for a few months now. The sounds are amazing. You can get great tones through the amp simulation or just the natural sounds of the acoustic instruments. Easy note entry and sound customization makes it a simple to compose a whole song. If your familiar with tab, the tab feature allows you to get your guitar parts in with all the bends, slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs. Progression even comes with a chord and beat library if you need some inspiration to “get the ball rolling.” All of the instruments included in Progression (keyboards, bass, and drums) give you the ability to write for instruments you may not play! The save as audio feature makes it easy to export your whole song or just parts of it as a .wav file to share with friends or band-mates. If you are looking for an easy to use music creation tool with great sound quality, take a look at Progression.from NC December 29, 2008 Music Background: hobbyist Great creative software for songwritingbought the software about a month ago and I'm LOVING the boost in songwriting it's given me. sharing ideas with my band mates has never been easier and we're writing more than ever!from Jackson, Michigan September 1, 2011 Music Background: Hobbyist/Songwriter/Guitarist Notion Music SoftwareThe software is really great for someone who wants to their put their songs and/or lyrics on staff paper. I would recommend this to anyone who is starting out or who has been doing it for a while. It's extremely easy to use.from Epsom, UK August 29, 2008 Music Background: Hobbyist ProgressionBasically a good first effort for version 1.0 . But as a guitarist I can't see why virtual fretboard input is limited to the first 12 frets only! Hopefully version 2 may remedy this and make it more appropriate for guitarists. Also, the virtual fretboard is anchored in an upright position, which is an unrealistic position to view it to most of us - it should be possible to allow the user to position it anywhere on the screen. |
