We've used these for about 12 months now. They are very sturdy, reliable stands for standing vocalists. But if you try and use the boom at odd angles, the lock screws don't hold the telescoping piec... read more [+]es in place. An example is a vocalist sitting at a piano. Since the boom is at a right angle to the stand, the mic just rotates down because the lock screws can't hold tight enough. Very disappointing for such a beefy stand from Ultimate. close [-]
