from February 21, 2012 Dean Markley Pro MagThe pickup installs nice and is very user friendly however the sound pickup is very passive. When hooked it via cable to amp, you lose almost 60% of sound transfer. I have to almost turn the amp to 9 or 10 during practice to even here myself. Not too impressed with it. Get a high end Rare Earth or get a preamp installed.
