Buy It!!

I've had mine for over 5 years and play thruough it almost daily with absolutely NO problems. It really enhances the sound of my acoustic and I absolutey love it. . . . do yourself a favor and get this pickup. It's incredible, regardless of what the rater before me had to say. A mancontent perhaps?

Good for the money

The Dean Markley Promag Gold is definitely the best in the Promag series. However, it will not compare to undersaddle pickups. I use one in an old no-name 1969 Japanese Acoustic, & it does a pretty good job. Much richer sounding than any of the other Promag pickups. Definitely worth the extra money.

Don't buy this

Me and my friend bought 2 of these and they broke after about a year and only produced a loud buzzing noise instead of the guitar tone. It sounded great while it worked. It just didn't work that long. And the warranty was up so it's our loss.
