This unit includes an effective 5-band EQ, photo-optic compressor, "depth" control, and Fishman's exclusive "Voltage Doubler" technology. You also get a balanced XLR out, XLR pre/post EQ switch, and a ground lift switch on the Pro-EQ Platinum Bass.

The Pro EQ Platinum Bass features five bands of bass EQ, a photo-optic compressor and an innovative "depth" control for dialing in big bottom without boom. The unit's advanced circuitry is recessed into a road-rugged 12-gauge steel platform,
surrounded by tough injection-molded bumpers.

Pro-quality I/O features
Sound engineers will appreciate the Pro-EQ Platinum Bass' pro-quality features, which include a balanced XLR out, an XLR pre/post EQ switch, plus optional 48-Volt phantom power operation. This means no more batteries or wall warts if your mixer has phantom power. Unique to the Pro-EQTM Platinum is a hum-killing ground lift switch that works even when phantom power is applied to the preamp.

Smooth bass response
For a smooth, musical response and tube-like warmth we use sweet sounding J-FET technology throughout. Plus, an exclusive "Voltage Doubler" gives you the extra front-end headroom needed for today's high-output active basses.
