I use the plugs on every song I mix or master. I even use the analyzers when I'm tracking! Whether you need compressors, EQs, reverbs, delays or weirdo effects, they're in this bundle. You may want to get an iLok while you're at it because you'll want to use these EVERYWHERE, on your Nuendo rig or on the studio's Pro Tools or Logic setup.

There's probably not a serious producer out there who hasn't used Waves plug-ins on an album. As soon as I started using the L2 Ultramaximizer a few years ago, I was totally convinced that Waves plug-ins are the pinnacle of mastering tools. The Platinum Bundle (which I now use) offers Linear Phase EQ to attenuate frequencies while contributing zero distortion, IRL for some of the highest quality reverbs out there, and a slew of others. This IS the next level to a professional production.

Worth the Money

If you are serious about your music and passion, as I am. You owe it to yourself in the long run to spend on top quailty plugins. Yes the price is steep. Could come down a bit if you ask me. However for the quality and sheer enjoyablity of how your mixes sound after using this bundle it was worth every penny. I started with the Gold bundle and upgraded to platnium cause I just simply fell in love with waves after the gold bundle. Now i Purchased the SSL 4000G series Plugins all because of the fun i have with waves. I actually go looking for Mixing jobs so I can play with my plugins. Although I must say The WUP is a no no.

Platinum Waves Bundle

I love this whole package. It includes such a large arsenal of plugins that truly enhance and complete the music I am working on. I have just scratched the surface but know I will be learning new things with this bundle for years to come.

Investment

Ok, so you've spent hundreds on misc plug-ins. But you rarely use them because they don't sound right or destroy the mix. Well, your ears are telling the truth. As you grow as a musician, your tolerance for cheap plug-ins/equipment shrinks. Take the plunge, this bundle is simply the best plug-in investment I've ever made. You will use these on every mix and couldn't imagine life without them.
