I use to get professional sounding vocals at least that's what i thought.After adding the platnum A/D card my sound went from dull to in your face and that's without any equalization.Thanks Focusrite.
p.s 229 bucks well spent.

  Focusrite A/D and D/A converters

I have the twintrak pro with Focusrite A/D and D/A converters in it, and the converters are very good sounding and are much better than the Digi 001 converters. I get the 001 2 mix out into the twintrak, then EQ(using the insert jacks and an outboard EQ) and compress, then go out of the A/D option card back into the 001 for recording and then bouncedown. A really great signal path for either the full mix or for stemming.

for all digi 001 owners who have a focusrite platinum tm pro preamp. The A/D converter of this card far superior than the 001. The sound is much cleaner and in your face sound. The sound is not brittle like the 001 converter. This is a very good investment. You will be very pleased you bought it.
