The Modartt Pianoteq Vibes Add-on gives you two virtual vibraphones modeled on iconic instruments. The V-M serves up the spittin' sonic image of a US-made Musser vibraphone, while the V-B is a virtual copy of the French-made Bergerault. The unique sound of the vibraphone is the direct result of its simple design: metallic bars, damper pads, and thin-walled tubular resonators. Nestled into top of the tubes, motor-driven discs provide a tremolo effect. The instrument is so delightfully mechanical, and Modartt's Pianoteq Vibes Add-on nails it cold.
