to be honest- it all comes down to the Japanese quality. I've heard some people mouthing about the pricing- but seriously these are a GREAT value for the money. They are priced around the mexican prices which are junk. The japanese are on line if not better than the americans in quality. I love mine, and it is a very unique sounding instrument, quality smokes my 2006 american standard strat.

WOW AWESOME GUITAR

I love this guitar! The Texas Special in the neck has an amazing tone that I just can't describe, and the Enforcer in the bridge is hot, but not to hot. Just how I like it! It sounds especially amazing when tapped, too! The only reason I took off 1/2 star is because I don't really like maple necks.
