Instant gratification

Music Background:
A while back, I purchased a few cheap TS cables and velcro'd them together to make a sort of snake to go from amp input, amp footswitch, amp send, and amp return - so I didn't want to buy four expensi... read more [+]ve cables and quadruple an already high price. Found a good deal for multiple cables which, ON PAPER, seemed to have everything a good cable should. Well, I recently got a single-channel amp w/ no effects loop, so I thought I'd pick up one actual brand-name cable and see what happened.

The sonic difference was noticeable on the first swap - no AB testing necessary whatsoever, I knew this cable was better. Again, on paper, there shouldn't be much difference, but to my ears, there's enough. Don't know what they do differently, but I will definitely be getting more of these in the future. They sound great, and I love the ends - besides looking cool, the molded plastic won't keep unscrewing all the time like most cables. Only complaint so far (haven't had it long) is that the cable's rubber shielding seems a little on the thin side, making the whole length of the cable a bit more flexible than I'd like, but since this is just connecting to my backline after pedals (not a guitar lead), I doubt that coiling will ever be an issue. And at this price, all I can say is, GREAT JOB, Planet Waves! close [-]

Our Customers Say...

I can talk to my Sales Engineer about any piece of equipment, and he always steers me in the right direction. He truly knows what he's talking about, and he never tries to over-sell me on anything. If he worked in the Nashville area, I'd probably owe him about 20 dinners by now!
