Professional musicians will appreciate having the ability to fine tune a string on the fly-even while holding a note. Given the "basic" machine heads found on most Gibson instruments, the TP 6 gives you a solid alternative to keeping and maintaining a tuneful voice for your guitar. The mass of the standard tailpiece and the TP6 are nearly the same, but the latter seems to increase sustain while in no way impeding with palm muting or the "feel" of the guitar. A "must-have" item.
