These should come standard from the factory on all Gibson guitars. Professional musicians will appreciate having the ability to fine tune a string on the fly-even while holding a note. The mass of the standard tailpiece and the TP6 are nearly the same, but the latter seems to increase sustain while in no way impeding with palm muting or the "feel" of the guitar.
