I have used many DAW stations in the past. Logic, Cubase, Cakewalk, and many more that I will not waste time mentioning. Pro Tools have always been my favorite because it was excellent quality and user friendly. However, Avid has blown my socks clean off. The learning curve for Pro Tools 9 is low plus the user friendly Avid Mbox3 is the best DAW for my home studio. I have been playing and teaching for over 30 years and I demand that all my student learn to record their own music. This combination is great. I just put completed a list of 30 songs that I use for background music and the Mbox3 and Pro Tools 9 combination made the job fun. I enjoyed recording and editing my music. Also, I only spent a minimum amount of time studing the reference manual. Very user friendly.
