After setting the standard for computer-based digital audio production, what does Digidesign do for an encore? Introducing Pro Tools|HD, their most powerful and flexible Pro Tools system yet. Incorporating a new, highly advanced hardware architecture, Pro Tools|HD features more DSP power than ever before, support for increased sample rates (up to 192 kHz), high-resolution audio interfaces and peripheral options, higher track count and I/O capacity, expanded routing flexibility, and much, much more. It might be the most complete, all-in-one audio production system out there; every aspect of audio creation takes place within a single, integrated environment. Pro Tools|HD core systems are available in three sizes: Pro Tools|HD 1, Pro Tools|HD 2, and Pro Tools|HD 3. Each Pro Tools|HD system requires at least one of the new audio interfaces, such as the 192 I/O or the 96 I/O, and supports the use of legacy Pro Tools audio interfaces for additional inputs and outputs. All Pro Tools|HD systems come with the latest Pro Tools software, and are modular, allowing you to expand at any time as your needs grow. Pro Tools|HD 2 includes the HD Core card, plus an additional HD Process card, offering more than double the mixing and processing power of HD 1 systems, with support for 64 channels of I/O, up to 128 simultaneous audio tracks, and powerful DSP processing.
