I wrote Pro Tools Clinic to be the instruction book I wish I would have had around when I was learning Pro Tools.
Customer Reviewsfrom Parkersburg, WV October 28, 2008Music Background: musician, recording engineer Has saved me a few headaches.Written very well and easy to understand. I use it as a quick reference when something unexpected happens and the clients are waiting on me to get something done. It sits on my desk right next to my 003 rack. Has both MAC and PC options in there, so make sure you are reading for the right OS options or you will be looking for a menu that isn't there.from Arnaudville, Louisiana January 12, 2008Music Background: Musician, Home studio owner A must! This book is so important for understanding Pro Tools. Real world applications and a comfortable writing style make it the fast track for being the master of your own Pro Tools DAW.from Iowa,USA December 12, 2006Music Background: Hobbyist Good for newbiesThis book is ok.It doesnt really cover anything you wouldnt be able to find out by yourself. It resembles the low educational value of the sweetwater videos.

February 15, 2006 Pro Tools ClinicI don't care where the author works----this is aGOOD book. If you have a basic understanding of terminology like pan, bus, inserts, pre-amps, and sends, the author makes the software understandable. He also injects a touch of humor from time to time to keep it from reading like a textbook.
