Great supportThere's tomes written about ProTools. I won't bore you with another one here.
However, our studio was on the tightest of deadlines to get a project edited....so we were non-pluses when Avid's download system and servers weren't operating after we purchased PT10.
Sweetwater to the rescue.
Our sales engineer Brad Every and the Sweetcare team went above and beyond by FedEx'ing DVDs to us the very same day.
This is why we always turn to Sweetwater when it comes to purchasing gear and software.

Avid Pro Tools 10 for EducatorsThis is a great product. The auto delay compensation, the new look and feel of several plugs, and faster patching of aux sends all add up to GREAT. Of course, having a 96 track count is most compelling, and with added plugs and functionality, well it's just a great package.

A huge upgrade from 8!Although the layout has not changed much, I'm noticing a huge improvement in operation and sound quality. I upgraded from PT8 so many features are new. Most notably Delay Compensation and standalone capabilities. For some reason the 1028 sample buffer is not working with Snow Leopard, but I haven't yet run into a situation that 512 doesn't work in. Universe window is sweet, and so is having way more voices. Only complaint is there is no 5.1 support without the $2000 Toolkit. As if I haven't spent enough on all of my upgrades over the years!
