Working with a small Southern Gospel Quartet, this little keyboard is really adding so much to our overall performance, as well as the recording capabilities we are so looking forward to exploring in the near future. Had it for a month now, I'm playing it every opportunity I get. The folks at Sweetwater are fantastic as far as working with you, getting info for you and tech support. With this purchase, they have become my source for all our musically related purchases.from Raleigh, NC September 9, 2011 Music Background: Professional, full-time church musician, and freelance composer. Nice keyboardI've used extensively a Yamaha PSR-750 and PSR-3000 as both a live keyboard, and sound module for computer produced midi files. With the 3000 showing some aches and pains after 6 years of use, I wanted an upgrade. After considering some 88 weighted key options, I elected instead to stay with what I knew, and just got the S910. My comments here are preliminaryThere are some nicely updated sounds, in many categories. I do believe, as some others also do, that Yamaha produces very fat, rich sounds, which I prefer. The ability to edit sounds, save as user sounds, and incorporate these user sounds in called up registrations is also appreciated. (seemed like my 3000 wouldn't let you save preset sounds to registrations) The music rack was also improved, having a tighter fit with the keyboard. (the rack on my 3000 used to fall out often when playing the keyboard.). The tabs for selecting registrations, drum patterns A-D, etc. are made of a material that has more 'grab' than in previous psr keyboards, it seems to me, which I like, in a live situation. The keyboard itself has quite an acceptable feel to me, no worse or better than other non-weighted keyboards I've played. Style patterns seem to also offer more updated styles than the 3000' and with online updates, etc., this should prove helpful. The keyboard speakers also are larger, and I think have more oomph than earlier psr keyboards I've played. All in all, at this point I'm very happy with the quality of the 910. I'm glad I made the purchase.
