Customer Reviewsfrom Baden, Pa. July 7, 2012Music Background: DJ for over 40 years, also a singer in an acapella group JBL PRX615MI've always been a JBL guy for 40 years, all the way from the D130's,075's, LE-85's, Etc. I bought the EONs, the EON G2's, and finally the 515's. I played a car cruise with seven other DJ's this Summer using the PRX615M's, and there were four DJ's who weren't working that day who came up to me and told me that I was the best sounding of all - very clean and crisp. I already knew that, but it was nice to hear. These speakers make my G2's sound a little thin. They sound better in all respects. If you can't afford these, get some used EON G2's (they are an excellent speaker), but these just sound better. In my opinion, the next step up is the line array, but it involves a lot more money and work. It also doesn't hurt to get these speakers up in the air 8 or 9 feet. I'm getting two more so I can play anywhere. Worth the price! from Brownsville, Texas 78526 November 18, 2011Music Background: Sax player / sound engineer Great sounding speakerbought 1 just to try it out i was really impressed with the great soundand the punch i got ............. from Minnapolis July 21, 2011Music Background: Keyboards La Boom BoomThese are sick sounding speakers! Light - good looking - nice deep sound from the 15 inch sub. About to get two more when I have a chance.from new york October 14, 2012Music Background: dj prx615mI found my set of JBL's to be worth what I payed. In other word's I got my bang for my dollar and don't have to worry about replacing them because not being satisfied.I am a true believer of the sound and the handling capability of these speakers .from Staten Island, NY April 8, 2013Music Background: DJ for over 20 years Very good speakers, BUT!These speakers sound very nice. My one issue with them and my reason for selling them at a loss after 3 months is THEY HAVE NO THROW! If your in a small room they sound great but if your in a big room or a room with a long dance floor they just will not cut it. Jbl went to small on the horn in my opinion and that causes the back of the dance floor really fall off. I sold my pair and bought the QSC K12's which although only have a 12 inch woofer have great throw and if I'm doing a big room I always use subs anyway. |
