Lightweight and Powerful PA Speakers from Peavey

The Peavey PR 15D delivers the same superior sound quality we've come to expect from Peavey's Pro Lite series. Peavey chose advanced materials, such as its lightweight, roadworthy molded polypropylene exterior. The PR 15D puts 200 watts through its 15" woofer with a 2.38" voice coil and an RX14 1.4" titanium diaphragm compression driver, courtesy of a Class D bi-amplification. You also get built-in DDT compression, built-in pole mounts, and top and bottom flying point inserts, allowing you to mount the PR 15D in a variety of ways.

The PR-15 handles a good amount of power and a pair should be loud enough for sound reinforcement in small to mid-size rooms. It's light-weight and easy to lift and carry. So you will absolutely need a subwoofer in addition for any applications requiring full range reproduction. close [-]

Also, they have not held up very well. They may have a metal screen and made out of composite, but overall construction is poor and are not meant to be moved around alot close [-]
