I've had this gear for roughly six months now. Overall, I am very impressed. I control Logic Pro 9 with it and record vocals. Great vocal clarity. The Line 6 customer service was very helpful when I needed an answer on assigning inputs. For the price, you get a solid controller that is great for the studio. On a few occassions, I used during gigs by running it with Mainstage. However, performing on 37 keys is not too fun, but it got the job done. close [-]

I fo... read more [+]und the gearbox very useful and wanted the added capibility of more input lines and the ability to run two mics to it. I was also looking at midi controllers then I saw the KB37 the best of all worlds. I was hesitant to get it because I wasn't sure if my module packs I purchased would work on the new device. Tried to get an answer from line6 but they didn't respond and my sweetwater rep. tried his best to get an answer. That was the only thing that made me hesitate. March 13, 2009 Music Background: Musician, recording engineer, and live sound/live recording engineer. Well my friends all the module packs are able to transfer from my old device into the new KB37. Awesome!! to make it forward campatible line6. I was stoked I didn't have to shell out again for module packs. I will be putting the KB37 through it paces this weekend with my band's recording session. In my setup, it is running via SPDIF into my Presonus firewire recording studio. So after I get a chance to use it in that scenario I will report back on how it went. If you are thinking about this device, I strongly encourage you to get it. close [-] Gets it done.

Carson McClainThis has to be the coolest TonePort product I have seen. It has two mic inputs so you can mic a guitar cab and sing at the same time. It has 1/4" outs to run to your monitors or PA, and it even has footswitch and expression pedal inputs to control the software that comes with it. The keyboard aspect of this audio interface is ingenius. If you are using software that has drums or virtual instruments, you can now have access to them and control the playback and record buttons as well. The KB37 will help you write more songs and add all of the elements you need such as bass and drums without having a band. If you play guitar, play by yourself, or even record other guitarists and vocalists, then the KB37 is a perfect addition to your computer music studio. Also popular
