Customer Reviewsfrom Bentonville AR March 13, 2013Music Background: Extereme Hobbyist 1st ClassFirst of All, Don't let the Price fool you. This is a premium Guitar in every way shape and form. I've had this Guitar a month now and I'm still blown away. This is a guitar for musicians who have broad music interests. Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Metal can easily be accessed. The Seymour Duncan Triple Shot system is amazing and easy to work just a flip of a switch a tone nirvana. The Guitar doesn't have a flaw on it. They really are stunning cosmetically. The Ebony Fretboard plays amazing and You can tell the Plek system did it's job on the frets because I haven't adjusted anything on it. Now for a couple Cons, I'm a Les Paul owner, This guitar is heavier than my Paul. Not by much but I would recommend a premium strap be bought with it for anyone who hasn't toted a Paul before. The other issue I had were the Pots, They didn't quite have the taper I wanted. I'd figure they were Cheap-Os but No I opened up the back and found Alphas. So this isn't a Con, just a preference. A guitar with this much tone, I would like a more wide taper, but that is just me. You might buy it and love the tone pots. This is not a medium range guitar as the price might suggest. There is every bit of quality here as the Big Boys put out. I commend Wechter and plan on purchasing a Acoustic from them now. from Waller, TX USA May 7, 2013Music Background: Hobbyist Excellent Quality. Excellent ValueThis guitar is an excellent value on the market today. The feel and quality of this guitar are well above other guitars in this price range. Wechter has put together an incredible instrument by combining great tonewoods and quality hardware. These Wechter solid bodies have beautiful quilted maple tops, and from what I understand this is the real deal. Not a veneer but a true 3/4" quilted maple top. Mine actually measures slightly thicker than 3/4". The headstock has matching quilt which really adds to the look of the instrument, and I really like the shape of the headstock. This guitar is also Plek'd at Sweetwater on their PLEK machine, and boy can you tell! No buzzing. No dead frets. String bends feel very smooth and every note on the fretboard rings out clear. I also appreciate the original design and aesthetics of this guitar. It's something different, not just another copy look-a-like.The Duncan 59's sound good in this guitar and the Triple Shot rings add a lot of sound possibilities. I am very impressed with this Wilkinson tremolo. Mine stays in perfect tune with moderate use and that is with the stock non-locking tuners. Did I mention this guitar comes with a really nice hard shell case?! The only downside I have found with this guitar is that the 23rd and 24th frets are not the easiest to get to. Upper fret access is still better than most other guitars though. I encourage anyone to grab one of these while they can. It is truly a professional grade instrument that is great for gigs or studio use. from Fenton, MI USA October 16, 2011Music Background: Hobbyist Wechter PM-7350 GuitarFor the money, this guitar is one of the best I have ever bought. I havelooked this guitar over several times and the cosmetics is flawless. The quality is top notch and the playability is great. The fret ends are smooth and rounded and getting up and down the neck is effortless. The cut aways make it easy to reach the last fret and the notes ring. The sustain you get is what make this guitar so nice. You want that 60's Steve Cropper sound,it's there. You want a tele chicken-picken sound, it's there. You want a darker blues tone, it's there. You want a nice jazz sound, it's there. You get alot of guitar for your money and the case is well padded to protect it. There is one problem I am having with it. As I am playing the guitar,I sometimes hit the little switches on the pick-ups and it knocks it out of it's setting. But overall I'm glad I bought this guitar and If your looking for a well made, great sounding guitar, for the money it's worth every penny.
