An amazing range of classic tones
At first glance, the pickups on the Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314 look like ordinary humbuckers, but there's more to this guitar than meets the eye. The key isn't the pickups themselves (which sound amazing in any configuration), it's in the Seymour Duncan Triple Shot mounting rings around them. With the flick of a couple of switches, these amazing pickup rings let you chose between series humbucker, parallel humbucker, and two different single-coil configurations. The result is that you can configure the Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314 with a total of 16 different sounds, right off the pickup rings!

Classic humbuckers plus modern MIDI! Wechter's Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314 doesn't just give you great dual-humbucker pickup performance; it also includes an onboard Graph Tech Ghost Hexpander MIDI pickup system, so your tonal possibilities are truly endless. Plug into your guitar synth rig and more out of a solidbody electric guitar than you'd ever thought possible. The Ghost Hexpander system is built into the Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314's bridge and controls, so it's completely unobtrusive and totally easy to activate. Wechter's Plek Pro treatment
When you pick up a Wechter Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314, one of the first things you'll notice is how well this instrument feels. That's because each of these guitars is set up by hand in Wechter's US luthier shop. What's more, Wechter uses the most advances neck-shaping technology available, the Plek Pro machine, to adjust the neck carve and cut the frets. This is the same pin-point accurate neck-setup technology most guitar makers charge thousands of dollars for in their custom shops, and it comes standard on the affordable Wechter Pathmaker SB Standard PM-7314.
