Customer Reviewsfrom Seoul, Korea August 12, 2011 Music Background: Hobbyist Best Bang for your buckI've never played an instrument under $1,000 with the responsiveness, action, and sound of the Wechter Pathmaker. After purchasing, my brother in law tried it and bought his own that week. If, god forbid, i ever lose it during travel or some other calamity, I will only replace it with another of its kind.from Charleston, SC May 26, 2011 Music Background: Pro Musician I mean... WOW!I just got my black Thinline Pathmaker this morning. It had been on backorder for a while... but I think it was worth the wait. This guitar is DA BOMB! I was a bit afraid that the neck would be too slim, but it was just awesome! Nice and round... you get a GOOD grip around it for chord work up and down the neck. And with the extra room up to the 19th fret, I can now play the intro to "Brown Eyed Girl" without changing position... amazing.I have not plugged it in yet, and I need to take a nap and the dog needs to go out, but I can't put this thing down! I buy and play mid-priced guitars since I use them ALL the time, and with the places I play and people drinking I would not dare to bring an expensive guitar (800-plus U.S. dollars). Yes I would cry if this was stolen or wrecked or lost, but I would be able to save up for a new one without having to wait too long. OK enough, gotta get back to playing! (And yes... take the dog out... *sigh*). from Colorado, USA November 18, 2010 Music Background: Radio Station Owner/Musician All Wechter guitars are top quality at a low price!About a year ago I purchased a Wechter Pathmaker left handed 3PU from Sweetwater and it is the best electric acoustic guitar made period!!! Double cutaway, plex set up, super good looks, always stays in tune, sound and tone are amazing!!! The electronics are first class. This is the only acoustic electric I need in my guitar collection no question, there is just nothing made on the market that comes close to the high quality of this Wechter regardless of price, but the low price is incredible.from Hamilton, Texas January 26, 2010 Music Background: blues, country, classic rock WOW... What a great deal!!Out of several guitars I own, the Wechter Pathmaker Deluxe Thinline is hands down, my absolute favorite. For a thin-bodied A/E, the sound is OUTSTANDING - and I'm talking about unplugged too! It's playability is smooth & easy. This thing came set-up with precision right out of the box. The action is as low as it could possibly be. In my opinion, there's just no better player for the money - HIGHLY recommended. Now, I want the Natural Ovankol model, but I have to figure out a way to sneak it past my wife.from Lansing, MI October 6, 2011 Music Background: Active Solo Musician Great BuyI have smaller hands and heard this thing played like an electric. The action is nice and low from the PLEK setup. Got it 2 months ago and have played this guitar everyday since I've gotten it and have not had any problems whatsoever. There is also a XLR input along with the 1/4 " which makes for further versatility. Wechter has outdone himself in regards to the craftsmanship and aesthetics of this guitar. I played countless other acoustics and have not gotten the same ease of use out of an instrument as I did with this.
