The cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides. Less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings.

“This mic is built to withstand just about any abuse you will encounter! Sounds pretty good, but I'd recommend EQing this mic. Sounds clear above my band, but it does pick up a bit of feedback if it's in a small room with the volume turned way up. I'd recommend this mic for those who are looking for a good mic at a very low amount.”
