GREAT MIC FOR THE BUCK

SOUNDS REALLY GOOD ON AMPEG HEAD WITH THE SVT 5 PRO AMP, NOT MY FAVORITE ON A KICK DRUM GOOD MIC FOR THE MONEY .

Good Tone

Not my favorite in the kick drum, but sounds amazing on a nice bass amp. Especially on slap style.

Not bad!

I purchased this to use as a bass drum mic a few years ago, and while it's not bad on a kick prefer it as a floor tom mic. It really shines on toms and bass cabinets!

Bad Kick, Good Bass

sucks for kick drum, but its pretty nice 4 bass guitar. It's decent on floor tom as well....kinda. If you have a really thin sounding guitar you can try putting this up to it as well, then slap a high pass filter afterward...it's worth a shot, worked once for me.
