What's worse is that the "power factor" supplied from your building's AC outlet is typically poor, thanks to increasingly overtaxed power lines and raised line impedance. In fact, the quality of AC power has been so poor for so long, most musicians have no idea how great their amplifiers could really sound. When the AC power factor is poor, amplifiers sound muddy because their power supplies can't deliver when pushed. Options Power Factor PRO E: "E" suffix versions are for use in countries with 220/240 volt AC lines. It features the internationally accepted IEC-320 connectors. The voltmeter on the Power Factor PRO E reads from 180 to 256 VAC, in 4 volt increments.
