PE 1C DESCRIPTION

Tube Based Equalization Done Right!
The TUBE-TECH PE 1C Program Equalizer contains a low frequency boost and attenuation section (shelving), and a high frequency boost section (peaking). Sweetwater Expert Advice

"The first time I came across this Pultec-style EQ, I was tracking an R&B band at school years ago. The kick was just not happening. For some reason, the low end just wasn't coming through. I tried switching mics, pres, cables, you name it and the kick still sounded thin. After twisting every knob that the SSL console had to offer, I patched into that big blue box in the rack. It brought the kick back to life. I have never heard a low end so full. As it turns out, there was a BAD SOLDER in the patchbay that was killing the low end! I guess nobody told the Tube Tech EQ. After that, I used this EQ so much that "Tube Tech" became my nickname. If you are having trouble with your low end, check the solders on your patchbay and get a Tube Tech PE1C. "
