Customer Reviewsfrom Ft Wayne, IN December 13, 2012Music Background: Hobbyist/live performer. Best I've Ever Owned!!I have played for 40 years but have only played in my basement or at church for the past decade. My last kit was a cheap beginners kit but it worked well for practice. I decided to upgrade and the M-5 is by the far the nicest I ever owned in both looks and sound (and I've owned several top of the line Premiers, Ludwig, etc.). I have heard some comlaints about the snare in other reviews but I have found that a new head, good tuning and a gel pad to kill ring produces that great high pitched pop. I would not be ashamed to take these on any stage for any style music. At $525 you have to be kidding me! Thanks Sweetwater.from Illinois May 12, 2012Music Background: Amateur musician Awesome set!I recently bought this set to gig with and so far I'm very impressed with it. I like the F.A.S.T. toms and love how beautiful it looks. The only real problem I have with the set is that the snare drum isn't great.
