Music Background: recording engineer, live sound engineer, hobbyist and student

this is a great piece of gear. it came with enough software to get started and more. It has sturdy construction and enough controllers to handle and software application you can think of. It is much sturdier than the M-audio or Yamaha's of similar price. I am VERY happy with this product. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I had some problem setting up my software (my computers fault if anything). A great buy all around :)
