Customer Reviewsfrom March 8, 2013Music Background: Guitar player Great soundThis is my first cajon so I don't have anything else to compare it it tone-wise. I play guitar but wanted something to have when we get together with acoustics. This is everything I hoped it would be. It has a very good boomy bass like the name says. The snare sounds good to me. If you want something to use as a drum when guys are just sitting around with acoustics, this is what you need.from Kalamazoo, Michigan July 23, 2011Music Background: Pro Musician, Back of House Sound Engineer Pearl Boom Box CajonThis is one awesome Cajon. Excellent low end response and the snare sound is over-the-top. This box has the closest sound to full drum kit that I've heard. I can't wait for the add-on toys to arrive in January. The extra cymbals and additional add-on's will finish the package. I have used this box in a live concert and received a lot of good feedback on it's sound. I would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.from Northern MI January 10, 2011Music Background: acoustic musician My first...Wasn't quite sure what to expect, seeing as this was my first cajon. I've watched video upon video of different cajon demos and couldn't find one on this particular cajon. I'm a guitarist and not a real percussionist, but I can tell you that this thing sounds pretty amazing and the low end really kicks. There is no adjustment to the snare (which would be nice) but it does look nice as a piece of furniture when its not being played. Sidenote: my kids totally love it. |
