Incredible sound quality and powerful effects
The PC2R is designed for anyone in search of the best sound quality and great sounding effects. This is a songwriter's dream palette! It provides impeccable high quality sounds, with 400 fantastic preset programs (256 regular programs, 128 Orchestral ROM programs, and 16 KB3 programs). All the PC2R's programs can be edited, allowing for changes to timbre, envelopes, and LFOs. You can then store edited programs to any of the PC2R's 256 user locations.

The PC2R includes dual effects processors which feature preset effects of the same quality as found in Kurzweil's legendary KDFX processor. Dual processors provide great, high quality effects, with separate send levels per MIDI channel for each of the effects processors. This allows you to design stunning and complex new effects on your PC2R.

Layers and splits for performance power
You can combine up to 4 programs to be layered/split on the PC2R to create full, rich, and expressive setups. The PC2R ships with 32 great sounding setups with room for 128 user created setups as well. It's easy and quick to make setups with layered and split sounds which are impossible to create on other rack modules.

KB3 Mode for ultimate organ sounds
The PC2R also features Kurzweil's KB-3 modeled tone wheel organ mode, giving you ultra-realistic tone wheel organ programs. Start with the original 16 KB3 programs and shape them as you wish. You can save your preferred settings to any one of 128 KB3 program locations.

Bonus orchestral sounds included!
This edition of the PC2R features the additional Orchestral ROM block. The Orchestral ROM block comes with 2 banks of 128 high quality string, brass, woodwind and percussion programs. A General MIDI bank is also available, which can be loaded into theater bank. Or, if desired, you can install the GM bank of sounds as presets into the included Flash ROM, and then load Kurzweil's unique bank of sounds into the User bank. These orchestral sounds are OUTSTANDING! With them, your PC2R will take ANY orchestration over the top!
