Steve Hensonfrom Champaign, IL December 2, 2011Music Background: Pro Musician Amazing BassAll I can say is Wow. No wonder this Bass is the Gibson Les Paul of the Bass World. I play in a metal band and this Bass is awesome for metal and hard rock, but also fits the bill for any style of music. I play Country Music with my Dad and Cousin and this fits in perfectly there. Love this particular color (in some lights it looks gray and in others it looks like a cobalt blue), plus not everyone has this color and I like that. This Bass even sounds good when you play it not plugged in, That's how good the wood is!!! Every True Bassist should own a Fender American Standard P-Bass!!
