wow,what a bass.i played a gibson grabber for years but this bass blows it away.in short i love it,i advise anyone looking for a new bass to try one of these on for size.

Don't be one of those people that look at the price of the American Series Fender basses and think they don't measure up to other more expensive models. I've been playing Fenders for quite a while but hadn't bought a new bass in years and thought about trying something new (like a more expensive model). Long story short...When I picked up the American Series P Bass, my decision was made to buy it. Like Linda Richmond would say, "It was like butter". It plays so smooth and the sound of the wood is outstanding. And just as importantly, it's made in the USA! You can't beat the classics and this is no exception.
