Customer Reviewsfrom San Antonio, TX August 13, 2009Music Background: Hobbyist musician and speaker builder. Half Rack Stewart Audio ampsI am using the PA 50B to drive the compression horns in a multi-amped studio monitor/instrument speaker setup. I also have two of the PA 100B amps for the mid-bass (see my review on those). I am also pleased with this amp although it actually runs a little warmer to the touch than the PA 100B's. Also, there is a slight turn-on click when turning this amp on and off. It is not a big deal, but when it is only driving a compression horn that makes it more noticeable. The factory told me the the turn-on click is normal in the PA 50B and not in the PA 100B because the two amps have different turn-on delay schemes. The amps sounds great, runs cool, and takes up very little space. |
