Customer Reviewsfrom Boston, MA April 19, 2012 Music Background: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Vocalist, Ukulele, Hobbyist, Student Awesome Digital Piano! This keyboard was recommended to me by my younger brother, who also owns a Yamaha P-95. Describing it as "the only keyboard you'll need for jazz, classical, anything at all!" he wasn't joking! I bought this keyboard because I always had a craving to play piano in the middle of the night, when the music center on campus had already closed or it was just literally too late at night to even think about going there. And this keyboard most definitely scratches that itch!Full 88-keys with hammer-grade weighting so it actually feels like you're playing a piano (hence my review title saying "digital piano" as opposed to "keyboard"). This digital piano reminds me of the classic Yamaha upright pianos or full grand pianos. It's loaded with the standard "bread and butter" type keyboard sounds from "Grand Piano" to "Electric Piano" to "Clavichord" and more. This digital piano will help me keep my piano chops up and will help keep that craving to play the piano in check! from chatham Il March 28, 2012 Music Background: novice piano player Excellent products delivered as promised.Very happy with the products received from sweetwater. Everything was professionally wrapped and sound quality of product is excellent. Highly recommend to purchase your musical gear from sweetwater.comfrom Colorado Springs, CO USA December 21, 2011 Music Background: Pianist I could not be happier!I have played piano my whole life and have always refused to buy a keyboard; they just never felt the same! But after moving across the country and going without a piano for longer than ever before, I gave in and bought this one (with an amazing deal from Sweetwater!). It feels JUST like a real piano, and the sound is gorgeous. Absolutely perfect for my daily piano fix, and it is great for apartment needs as well. I don't miss having a "real" piano at all :)from Alabama November 15, 2011 Music Background: Worship Leader, Singer Very pleasedSimply said, we are very happy with our purchase.from USA December 3, 2010 Music Background: Musician, teacher Yamaha P95Great acoustic piano, rhodes, vibes, and the internal speakers are fine for soft gigs and home use. I traded in a Privia 330 for this, even though the Privia had more features. It is a superior piano sound, action as well, and better internal speakers.I use it for soft solo gigs, or duos. Excellent. It cannot be used effectively with an external amplifier. I tried it through the headphones jack. I wish it could do that, have a decent output channel. from Cincinnati, OH November 9, 2010 Music Background: M M Ed degree in music, over 35 years teaching, professional musician YAmaha P 95A fine piano for soft solo or accompaniment gigs, as well as for home use. It has a great sound for the price and weight.I like the action. It would be good also for students learning piano.Good Rhodes piano sound and vibes. Very simple board, mainly a good piano. Only weighs 25 pounds! It does not sound good through and amp. You have to use the headphone jack, and it sounds trebly, tinny. I use it for soft gigs where I just need a good piano. It is superb for that purpose. The speakers have a great sound, much better than the Casio 330, which has a funny action and notr so good speakers. |
