A Guitarist's Swiss Army Knife on a Budget

This is a fantastic guitar. It was my first Parker (I have owned Fender and Ibanez), but it won't be my last. Bear in mind, this is not the Fly... but it's as close as you're going to come in this price range! The versitility is probably the real selling point for most (see my posts in the Parker Forum), but it sounds amazing too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the magnetic p-ups just don't quite have volume I would like for them too, but they sound great. The cool thing is that you can always upgrade the p-ups however you want, but you can't take away that Parker mojo. The guitar is not as light as the Fly's, but for me its "just right" - the perfect balance of heft and comfort. Also, a word about the bridge. The piezo sounds great, and you won't belive you're not playing a fixed bridge. I have played a bunch of tremelo equipped guitars, and this is the most stable (in terms of tuning) I have ever played (for example, I can switch to drop-D, and everything else stays put!). Add to that the guitar's ability to either split or blend the mags and piezo's, and you have one awesome instrument.
