Incredibly Flexible Mic! The Earthworks Periscope High Definition Hypercardioid Microphone Series was originally designed for use as stand-mounted choir microphones. However, when top recording and live sound engineers saw these, they envisioned a whole new world of possibilities. They immediately realized that, with the 4-inch flexible neck and small microphone head, this High Definition Microphone could be positioned or placed where other microphones could not, such as under the strings of an acoustic bass.
