The tonal quality of these mics are just out of this world, it enhanced the sound of my band by a large margin. That Kick (Opus 99) has no competition. I had my mind set on the Audix Drum Mic Kit which is a great package for the price but I have no regrets on deciding to spend the extra cash for these mics.June 7, 2009 Music Background: Musician, Producer, Engineer, Composer Here in the caribbean, our music is very fast paced with a BPM going as high as 162 and as a drummer playing Bouyon and Soca music you have to be very energetic and full of life. This causes the drum set to vibrate a lot more than other genres of music and that's where these clamps come in very handy. Once placed they just won't move. FINALLY no having to wait between songs so the drummer gets his set in order.
