This thing gets used for band... read more [+] practice every week and gigs every other month. It's been dropped, kicked, spat on, had brew spilled on it, and it keeps right on going, no problems. It has a very warm response, very clear, very detailed and quiet. The other vocalist in my band uses a Shure Beta 58A, and I like my Beyer better. It's warmer and richer sounding. This mic is one of the best kept secrets for live vocals. I compared several mics by AKG, Sennheiser,& others in the 200-300$ price range as well as my trusty SM58 & ND757. The OPUS69 (great n... read more [+]ame!) was the hands down winner. Clean high end definition with good proximity effect that experienced vocalists depend on. Great feedback rejection. All the other guys in the band want to use it. Whenever I do a gig where a sound company provides sound I insist on using my Beyer.
