For what you get at this price point, you can't beat it. I owned a Presonus Digimax LT and this thing blows it out of the water. The funnier part is, I own a 4 channel 9098 pre and an Apogee Rosetta, and on guitars and bass this thing kills the 9098 Apogee combo. The unit handles transients well and really delivers a full sound on toms. Even the converters are pretty darn good. No, it's not a Neve, but it's a killer way to get 8 more tracks into your 002. The variable impedance is also a handy feature. Money well spent.

I don't knwo what to say other than this is the best sound 8 channel pre I have used. It is very "British", lots of gain, plenty of head room (AKA, no squashed transients). It is my new go-to piece in the studio for work horse applications. Plus, with a laptop and an ADAT interface, you have a really nice mobile rig.

Up and running in minutes. Very clean and true. Electric Guitar into the HiZ port sounnds almost as nice as the Grace 101 HiZ. Nice meters. External sample rate detects well with BNC clock cable attached to MOTU 828MKII. So much more than the focusrite for about the same cost new and much better resale value!!

This is a special interface, have all you needed to expand your audio interface. I have got Digi 002 and I note inmediately the diference beetween A/D conversors, I connect this to ADAT input in Digi002, simply they are excelents. I have a High definition of audio with Onyx 800R.
