The One is truly the one! It will blow you away. The internal mic although a bit on the thin side works best for my dark male voice. It sounds identical to the Duet. Now, the Avid Mbox sounds very rich and probably features better converters than both the Apogees! The Mbox has a deeper less brittle sound on playback which is stunning and detailed. You could listen to it for hours without any fatigue. Apogee has the edge on the mic preamps. The gain control is more accurate. I own both and feel that it works best that way when mixing the final product. If you have a PC, the Mbox is a no-brainer. For what these interfaces go for, you can't afford not to own them all.
