GForce OddityI used to play on a ARP AXXE (I could not afford the Odyssey even though I was a profesional musician...) back in the late 70's. I heard the Odyssey many times both live and on recordings. I think the Oddity is very good. I was programming already all my old sounds (no patch memory by than so I remember well my patches... :) They sound similar and sometimes even better than I remember. However, I have so many other soft synths so I am not going to use Oddity that much. For my needs (to have that old "flavor") in my library - also being able to save all the sounds and with a laptop that makes more "noise" than I could make with a truck full of gears for only ...20 years ago, I am very happy. I only wish they had an iPad version too... |
