The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio octave divider gives you a stellar recreation of one of the legendary artist's tools - right down to every knob, jack, switch and circuit. Considered the "holy grail" of octave fuzz pedals, the Octavio "octave up" pedal was used by Hendrix to achieve some incredible textures. The Jimi Hendrix Octavio features front-panel level and fuzz controls. In the process, he created an iconic sound that still makes jaws drop nearly 40 years later. When dedicated guitar effects became available in the 1960s, Hendrix was one of the very first artists to embrace them as soundshaping tools, rather than gimmicky afterthoughts tacked on to a dry guitar tone. Many of his legendary solos and sonic journeys took advantage of effects such as the Crybaby wah, UniVibe chorus/vibrato, Fuzz Face distortion, and, of course, the amazing Octavio "octave up" pedal.
